Reheating Pot Pies

Our pies reheat best in a conventional or toaster oven. If you need to use a microwave at home or work we recommend wrapping your pie in a paper towel to absorb steam or using a microwave "crisping" tray to keep your pies from being soggy, while refreshing the crispness of our quality crust.

We realize that no two ovens heat the same so please use the instructions below as a guide. Gluten-free pies brown faster, so keep an eye on them.

Conventional or Toaster Oven

  • Keep frozen. Do not thaw.
    1. Preheat oven to 375-400°F. Discard all non-metal packaging (please recycle/compost as needed), leave your pot pie in the metal baking tin.
    2. Cook on baking sheet for 40-55 minutes. Careful, the pie will be very hot!
    3. Check that the pot pie is cooked thoroughly when an internal temp of 165°F is reached via food thermometer.

Microwave Oven

  • Keep pies frozen until ready to reheat.

  • Place pies on a microwave-safe plate we recommend wrapping your pie in a paper towel to absorb steam or using a microwave "crisping" tray to keep your pies from being soggy while refreshing the crispness of our quality crust.

  • Follow the heating instruction of your "crisping" tray.

  • Cut a small slit into the top of your pie(s) to allow for proper venting.

  • Heat pies for 3-5mins on high until the internal temperature reaches 165 degrees. Enjoy!
